This slow cooked pork is to die for ! This fed the whole family for lunch and dinner and we still have some left over too! 

Slow cooked Pork

Approx 2 kilo sized pork shoulder
1-2 onions depending on size
5-6 cloves of garlic 
Juice of a large Lime (or two small)
1/2 Hoisin sauce 
1/3 cup Char Siu Sauce
1 Tablespoon if crushed chilli (or fresh)
2 tablespoons of puréed tamarind
2 kefir limes
Piled tablespoon of chopped root ginger
2-3 chopped up carrots

Cook over night or most of the day ! 

Asian Slaw

Lots of coriander
Chopped cabbage
Chinese chives ( or NZ)
Sesame seeds
I used a Japanese sesame dressing we buy from our local Asian grocer in bulk, if you don’t have use a Mayo with a little sesame oil and lime with a little splash of fish sauce and sushi vinegar.

Brioche sliders are amazing, we used just little dinner rolls this time as it’s what we had access to, enjoy!
