Gaudi Candle Holder | Triple
Inspired by Gaudi's Sagrada Familia, Kirsten used the same design principles to craft the Gaudi Candle holders.
During the design process of the Sagrada Familia Gaudi used plaster models to develop the design, including a 1:10 scale model of the main nave measuring five meters in height and width by two meters in depth. He devised a system of strings and weights suspended from a plan of the temple on the ceiling. From this inverted model he derived the necessary angles of the columns, vaults, and arches.
Kirstens creation of these pieces were constructed upside down using gravity as a similar principle.
Each piece has slight variations in colour, texture and sizing due to its handmade nature.

Measures: Approx. 30cm H x 25cm W x 8cm D
We never recommended leaving candles burning unattended. Ideally blow out candles an inch before burning down to avoid wax build up inside the base of the holders and lifting the glue holding the metal spike.
