101 Copenhagen | Brutus Chair | Coffee

Inspired by the Brutalist architecture movement of the mid-20th century, the Brutus Dining Chair is cast in lightweight fibre concrete creating a unique surface texture increasing mobility.

Emphasising the fine balance between sharp architectural lines and a somewhat softer curve in the back and armrest, the Brutus collection is sculptural statement pieces with a compelling seating comfort. 

Each piece is hand painted to create a textured, unique surface. Therefore subtle variations in the colour can be expected.

Whether placed around a dining table or used as a standalone accent piece, the Brutus Dining Chair adds comfort, character, and sophistication to both modern and classic interiors.

Coffee colour way is a hand-painted deep, warm dark brown, this shade evokes the richness of earth and roasted beans. Its grounded elegance lends both warmth and depth, while brush stroke variations bring gentle shifts in tone and texture, making each piece entirely unique.

Care: Hand-painted fibre concrete is strong and resilient, yet its artisanal finish requires thoughtful care. Dust surfaces regularly with a soft cloth, and for routine cleaning, use a damp cloth with mild, pH-neutral soap, then dry thoroughly. Avoid abrasive pads, solvents, or acidic and alkaline cleaners, as these can damage the hand-painted layer.

To preserve its finish, keep furniture away from direct sunlight, high humidity, and extreme temperature changes.
