Apostle Hot Sauce | Orange & Horopito Shichimi

Shichimi Togarashi is a unique take on the Japanese spice blend with roasted sesame, locally grown hemp and toasted chilli for a rich, warm and nutty base. As well as the traditional kelp, ginger and szechuan, we included native horopito for wild bushy notes as well as both orange and lime for a vibrant, zesty finish that gives a bold, nuanced, and pleasantly bitter note perfect for soups, noodles, fish, grilled meats or vegetables. 

Goes well sprinkled over steamed rice, avocado on toast, dusted over eggs, dumplings or even on cucumber salad with a drizzle of sesame oil.

Ingredients: Toasted sesame, hemp hearts, chilli, szechuan peppercorns, orange (5%), horopito (4%), ginger, kelp, salt, lime. Contains sesame.
